“ Literally the ONLY Chinese restaurant my family and I will eat at in our area. Have lived in a neighboring town to this restaurant for 10+ years and it took us forever to find New Wok. So glad we found it. It's the only place we have found that uses fresh ingredients, is never greasy, uses no MSG at all in anything (not even the soups!!), and is always consistently delicious. Large menu with so many options, and will cater to any dietary requests. Like myself, my parents are extremely picky when it comes to liking a quality Chinese Restaurant. They rave about this place as well, and enjoy the meal whether it's dine-in or take-out. Highly recommend. ”
“ I was down bad for some Chinese food and my post-cycling-power-test famished self felt gravitated towards New Wok. Knew it would be from first inspection: tables were being used for takeout materials rather than customers, the menu was sticky but not too sticky, and the woman in the kitchen was flipping her wok with much flare. Ordered the Szechuan dumplings (no Szechuan peppercorn in sight but still delicious) and flat rice noodles with beef. The beef was phenomenally tender and noodles were ripping hot straight off the wok, aromatic with that nostalgic wok-hei. My friend with a more elementary palate went for the orange chicken, which surpas-ed all expectations. The low prices mixed with high quantity and quality of food have instantly made this my newest Chinese dig to eat a warm meal in my own company at. ”
“ Quick service, Americanized Chinese for pickup ...splurge on a sparkling wine (cava,champagne) to wash it down. Don't skip on the egg roll wish they did a duck dish cause it's on the menu but the Newtown folks are scared to order it lol. ”
